A New Threat to Israel

Yesterday, I watched John Bolton, former ambassador to the United Nations, deliver some unsettling news. It appears that a United Nations draft resolution to restrict Iran from getting weapons from other countries contains a serious loophole. In the fine print is included a clause that allows Iran to obtain the S300, an air defense weapons system that will easily make Israel unable to protect itself  if it needed to make a preemptive strike. Who makes that system? Russia, the country who will now apparently be the major supplier to Iran.

President Obama is so eager to get "results" from appearing to get some concessions from Iran that he will once again not read the fine print and sign on the dotted line. (Do we see a pattern here?) The rest of the world is laughing at us while our President helps give away protections for our allies, in this case, Israel.

This increased threat to Israel only ramps up the fear that it may consider a preemptive strike before these systems are in place. While our President apologizes and appeases, the world becomes a ever more unsafe place.
